he listens! he is extremely caring. He is careful to make sure he knows what is going on with you. He makes a treatment plan that will accomplish your goals. While he is quite conservative in pain meds and high end treatments, he is not against trying whatever is available to help you if need be.
Hes helped me with my foot so i can actually walk now.
Dr urie is great , I just started seeing him but am impressed. He is a little blunt but for your own good, will continue to see.
Dr. Urie and his staff are fantastic! Dr. Urie always knows who I am when he sees me and remembers conversations from past visits. He listens with intent, is easy to talk to, records all information that I relay, asks me questions and discusses treatment options which include not only short term effects, but long term effects as well. I found Dr. Urie too be very concerned with my back surgery/back pain. He has done everything possible to relieve me of my pain. I would/have recommended him to others and they feel the same. I him so pleased I found him. Keep up the great work
I found Dr Urie to be a kind, concerned, knowledgeable and compassionate physician. Yes, he typed on a laptop while he talked to me but he was intent on getting my medical history correct. He told me exactly what was required of me as a patient. He was very understanding and willing to help me manage my pain. I would definitely recommend him to other patients.
I have been seeing Dr. Urie for 3 years now and I am grateful that I can count on receiving the best care possible. I have read some of the negative reviews he has been given and I can not believe that these are referring to the same doctor. This was by far the worst doctors visit iv'e ever had. Filled out a ton of paperwork which could be avoided by simple in office questions. Had me pee in a cup to drug test me completely violating my patients rights and then left me to sit in the room for an hour while he chit-chatted with the nurses until I got up demanded my money back and left. I will never go back to this so called "Doctor" and would not suggest anyone else to do so either.
Dr. Urie took ample time to truly listen and discuss my condition. He wasn't rushed, assumptive, or disrespectful in any way. In fact, I was very pleased with his bedside manners and with the skillful listening he demonstrated. Definitely not a pill doctor. He won't even prescribe on the first visit (at least he didn't with me) and he leans towards narcotic patches more than pills. What I did not like was the exorbitant cost of the mandatory urinalysis.
