Can we get this surgeon a sixth star? He took care of my grandmother when other surgeons said she was too "old" She is now driving herself again, no longer anemic, and is now happier than ever because she no longer has anxiety about the cancer that was growing inside her. I'm very pleased about how he thought about her as a member of his family. We were shocked at reading his credentials and how humble he was.
Dr Das solved my embarrassing problem rapidly and explained it to me so EASILY. I got into the office within hours of my first call and before I even got to my lunch appointment my pcp called me saying he had already talked to dr das. Outstanding. Guess that explains the credentials.
Dr Das is extremely knowable and takes his time with you. HE NEVER rushes. He is pleasant and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone who needs has any colon or rectal issue. The Ivy League credentials don't hurt either.
Great doctor. Very caring and explains everything he is doing in terms we could understand. My family and I trust him with my life and we Did! surgery went well and he was so humble about it I guess he didnt realize what it meant to us to have him
Dr Das is a real gem. His explanation of what i needed was thorough. he then recommended that i get a second opinion because of my anxiety about major surgery, which I then did. That doctor confirmed everything what Dr Das said. The second opinion doctor said that if i were his patient, that he would refer me to Dr. Das. I was really impressed.
My experience with Dr Das has been outstanding. he was there to help guide me through the process. He made sure I was completely aware of the risks , personally called me and saw me (I requested no residents), and he was always very careful about answering all questions I had prior to or after surgery. He goes by current scientific literature, and doesn't put his patients at any unnecessary risks.
GODSEND! He is the best - personable, caring, accommodating. Dr. Das is a perfectionist, meticulous, professional, & accurate. Surgery & after-care on point. Dr Das sees his patients by himself in the hospital, sometimes even late at night. The best bedside manner, and he treats you like family, explains & offers option. God Bless Dr. Das!

Harvard guy, Texas roots! As a house divided family (my wife is a prim and proper Texas A&M grad) we were glad to see that Dr Das didn't forget his Texas roots! Worked hard, spent time with us, gave us the literature, thoughtful, heard good things from his nurses about him (we always check!)
