I cannot express strongly enough how much trust and respect I have for this amazing Doctor. I had a flap surgery and reconstructive surgery to my lower right leg and foot. I have never met a doctor with so much compassion that takes the time to listen to your questions and concerns. He has compiled an amazing team and staff that are second to none! His skills, knowledge, and commitment to his craft are second to none! I have so much gratitude for and trust in this gentleman. Second to none!
The reason I went to see him was a little out of the norm to what he's used to & I asked many questions & got 2nd opinions from others He wanted to do an expensive preop test & I went to the leading specialist in field & aske if it was needed & it absolutely was not. I told him and apparently it bruised his fragile ego Any dr that doesn't think you should get a 2nd opinion you should run from. Apparently I'm considered non compliant since I wasn't a sheep of a patient &labeled noncompliant!

Dr. Pulikkottil is highly skilled and also very attentive and responsive to my personal needs to understand my injury and the indicated remedy. I also wanted to learn about the state of science and technology giving rise to treatment alternatives, surgical and non-surgical. Dr. Pulikkottil and the supporting medical staff are at the top of their game on this matter.

Dr Pulikkottil was exceptionally thorough in both preparation and follow up, even consulting with fellow plastic Surgeon because of my skin being irradiated previously. He was recommended by Dr Nandi (colorectal surgeon) to do the extensive reconstruction following APR for rectal cancer. This is the most caring and personable Dr. I have met and he is a hero to my family for the way he and his staff encouraged me and saw me through this surgery and recovery. He has my unqualified endorsement.
On 10/1/2016, my daughter received a de-gloving of her right thumb from just behind the nail down to the joint below. We first met Dr Pulikkottil in the ER of Swedish hospital. From the moment he came in the room, he was very professional, calming and explained everything to us. Over the next number of days, we discussed our options. In the end he was able to reconstruct and give my daughter a functional thumb with full sensation, including her nail regrowing. We will always be indebted.
Dr. Pulikkottil and I met due to a bad thumb injury I had Received. Dr. Pulikkottil I would highly recommend this Dr. to anyone that would want a Dr. that truly care about his patience's and what there out come is.
Dr. Benson and the rest of the staff at the Burn Unit at Swedish Hospital were so helpful to me, I cant express how thankful I am. Dr.Pulikkottil and all the other doctors and nurses that helped me didnt just make me feel comfortable, but very confident that I would have a full recovery. Before I came to the Burn Unit I was afraid I wouldnt be able to be as mobile as i used to be. I can now say, thanks to everyone that helped me, I feel 100% back to normal. I really cant thank them enough!
I would recommend this doctor for several reasons: 1) Honesty, 2) Professionalism, 3) Timeliness, 4) Preparedness, 5) Educational awareness, 6) Mental toughness, & 7) Professional skill and competency Originally, when I met Dr. Pulikkottil , I was dealing with a very stressful and medically challenged time in my life. We discussed my condition and options and he was open-minded to my questions and concerns. I will refer him to anyone needing expert medical advise, or work.
