Fenton is more concerned with paperwork than patients. He should put patients FIRST and hire someone to handle office duties.
Appointments were very rushed and more than once were canceled on his behalf with no prior notice. I also felt like he came into the appointment with a diagnosis already in mind and did not listen to my current coping techniques or recurring problems. After switching psychiatrists, my new doctor questions most of the medications that Dr. Fenton put me on, saying that they were not the best for my major complaints and were overdosing me in general.
Excellent Doctor, genuinely cares! He is down to earth and I love his honesty and his has a great sense of humor!
Great Psychiatrist. Very easy to get along with and knows exactly what medications you need. I highly recommend this psychiatrist. Tony periles Psychology Software engineering MS
I’m really glad I found Dr. Fenton. He’s well worth my time, money and effort to drive over an hour to see him. His assistant is very good too. He takes his time with me and rarely have I had to wait longer than 20 min to see him.
I have seen Dr Fenton for a few years now and have been happy.Talented doctor and friend.Francis Hinton,Melissa Tx.
I’ve been seeing Dr Fenton for 11 years. He has helped me manage my bipolar disorder that otherwise would have cost me my job. Yes, he may run late, but that is most often because he does actually talk to his patients. He’s not just write a script and get out of my office. He has actively sought for psychiatric medication for a patient who would have needed to be admitted to a psych hospital if the medication had not been found. I work in a pharmacy and helped him in his search.
I've been his patient for 5+ years. Spends quality time with me. Remembers what's going on in my life every appointment. Thoroughly reviews history, medication, side effects and cares about my well being. He was recommended to me by a professor and I would recommend him to anyone wanting help. He gets to the root of the problem. Accurate and trustworthy and worth the wait. If you are required to wait before he can see you it's because he is doing his job the way it should be done. be patient.
I recommend Dr. Fenton to my recovery partners or anyone struggling w/mental illness. He is also AMAZING with children, he is a GIFTED doctor!! I look my 18 year old son to see him for possible depression; my son was NOT happy about going. Dr. Fenton was incredible, my son loved him & never complained again & my son actually gave Dr. Fenton a compliment! The scam of him making sexual advances is hideous, he talks openly about it. I am going on 5 years of seeing him, I credit him w/saving my life
