My appointment was cancelled the day before after waiting over a month and the receptionist was very rude to me ??????. I tried to get her to understand I really needed to have this appointment but she was very rude and passed me on to someone else without even telling me I was so disappointed. I've been going there over 3years.
Dr. Harris has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to heart disease. He understands exactly why things happen to you. For example as I reached age 55 Dr. Harris was able to explain why men at my age developed heart disease at a faster pace than any other ages.
This doctor talks over you and talks down to you. Does not listen to you. Only spends 2 minutes with you in the room. But he is always on time! I saw him with complaints and distress and he assured me I was fine. Then 12 hours later, I was in congestive heart failure and admitted to the hospital via ER. Twice after seeing him I ended up in the hospital the same day. Thankfully, he is no longer my cardiologist.
After having a heart attack Dr Harris started taking care of me, He treated me so well. You will never find a better cardiologist, After moving from Hollywood back to Greenville SC. I have yet to find a cardiologist half as good as Dr Harris and it’s been 8 years now. He is very firm when he tells you what you need, like a pacemaker or certain medications, in my situation he was right. I would highly recommend Dr Harris if you are fortunate enough to have him as your cardiologist
The first visit was great and I did not feel he was in a hurry, but EVERYTIME after he seemed to be a great hurry and had no time for my questions. He also came in completely unprepared. I was in for a 1 week follow up because he had taken me off a medication. When he came in the room and saw that I was off that med, he asked why I stopped taking it, REALLY? His staff scheduled me for a procedure WITHOUT telling me it was at another location!
