Dr. Stephanian was the first doctor to ask me what I wanted. Other consults I went through, only focused on the removal of my fibroids, by any means necessary. I'm single, with no kids, but that shouldn't mean I have to make such a final decision so abruptly, and Dr. Stephanian let me know that. She cared. I truly believe I had the best recovery (3 weeks post op and back to do my normal activities) because she cares.
Dr. Stephanian is obviously a very knowledgeable and experienced physician, however, if you are expecting not to wait 30-45 minutes at an appointment, if you are expecting to get quality face-to-face time during an appointment (at a recent visit she had the nerve to get impatient with me for asking "too many questions"), or if you are expecting to get your phone calls returned after leaving half a dozen messages (with her very burned out front desk person) about your urgent health concerns, then you will be sorely disappoint... read more
To begin with my comment Dr Stepanian is a caring doctor! When I first moved to Atlanta, looking into my Women’s health, quite hesitant because who would like to spread the legs open to a stranger? But Dr Stepanian is very professional, she explains all options and support my decision. And now my daughter is also seeing her as her OBGYN. Dr Stepanian is always in our conversation because she is really that great!
Dr. Stephanian and her staff are wonderful! So glad I found this practice when I moved to Atlanta. Dr. Stephanian is wonderful at what she does and you can really tell she cares for her patients. I would highly recommend her practice to anyone looking for excellent care in women’s health
Doctor Assia has literally saved my life! Without her help, who knows where I would be today. During my regular check-up visit she identified a problem that should be taken care ASAP. She was very clear about my options and provided very detailed information, which helped me to make educated decision. Gynecology is a very sensitive and vulnerable field of medicine, and I personally feel that Dr. Stephanian's office is one of the best in the field! The office itself is absolutely stunning and pristinely clean. I've never walked into the lobby, triage, restroom, or exam room and seen even a speck of dust! If there's any disorganization in this office, it's very well hidden. I cannot say enough about Dr. Stepanian! She truly cares about her patients and was extremely knowledgeable and very encouraging about an under-diagnosed condition I have related to infertility. She helped me see hope in my situation and always took extra time to listen to all of my questions. I have been going to Dr. Stepanian for about 8 years now (I am 28) and couldn’t recommend her any higher. She has a wonderfully gentle and friendly demeanor. She explains everything thoroughly without rushing, even though her practice is always bustling. I am so thankful to have a doctor with an energy that doesn’t make me more nervous than I am naturally about getting my annual exam. Her team is also always wonderful.
Being told you may need surgery is never something anyone wants to hear, especially during a pandemic. Yet that is exactly what happened to me.
