This dr ignored a my mothers symptoms until a situation got out of hand. My mother was allergic to an eye drop. Instead of helping to figure out which eye drop my mother was allergic to, this doctor then suggested unnecessary surgery.
Be careful! Doctors are overworked and herding cattle. Two eye surgeries turned into an emergency 3rd. My mom got cataract eye surgery and paid extra for the lens that can be seen near and far sighted. (Vivity lens) This doctor found out 2 weeks after post op that the wrong lens was put in one of her eyes making her not able to see through it. She claimed it was the fault of the machine that measured her eyes. They remeasured her eyes and the doctor said to me “oh…these numbers actually look right”. There needs to be multipl... read more
I felt like I had to applogize for even coming in. My issue was simple and yet it felt like I was talking to a wall, questions or answers and even jokes were just returned with a nod and a complete disreguard of them moving on to other things it made me feel discredited and like my situation didnt warrent a overview from him. I am glad I have other choices in the area.
Dr. Wilcox has been my PCM for a year or two, and I really liked him. When I first met him, I wasn't sure about him, but eventually I realized that he was a very caring doctor. He listens and explains the outcome and such thoroughly. I was glad that he was my PCM. Recently, I received a notification that says that Dr. Wilcox won't be my PCM any longer. I am disappointed, and I will miss him very much.
My mother in law is very concerned because she was told by Dr. F. to not scratch her eyes when my more in law told her that her eyes itch. She didn’t even check to see if my mother in law might be allergic. I am very concerned about the unprofessionalism.
Dr. Wilcox was my PCM for many years. He is a very good doctor. He has compassion and empathy for his patients. He takes his time to thoroughly diagnose your issues. He, without hesitation, will refer you to a specialist if necessary. He explains in layman terms, your condition and allows you to participate in the treatment process, so you feel actively involved in your care. He does not get offended if you provide some triage of your own based on your own research. He promptly answers emails through the providers' website. ... read more
WHERE has Dr. Wilcox Gone? Tri care no longer lists him and I cant find him. I do not want to see ANY OTHER DR.
Dr. Wilcox clearly had an agenda for my appointment however, it wasn’t to discuss my health but rather to hear himself talk. For the first 15 minutes I listened to him drone on about research on a condition that I don’t even have. My husband had a very similar experience and we put in for a new PCM change immediately.
Dr. Firozvi is a wonderful, thoughtful person. She is surely a kind person and her beside manner is awesome! I am very glad to have her as a doctor. Please take good care of her!
