I'd been a patient for several years until he and his staff lied and manipulated me into believing something that was supposed to be happening actually wasn't. I was trying to get onto a different medication which had been approved by him. It was a long process which required he and his staff to have to make extra efforts in getting it approved. I noticed that the timeframe that I'd been told kept getting longer and longer and without any proactive explanation by them. I called several times, spoke with various staff members... read more
Excellent! I trust him more than any psychiatrist I know. Have known him for years! He is very thorough in his assessments, communication and treatment. I was totally miserable before I started seeing him. Excellent diagnostician and very knowledgeable in his profession. When you work with Dr. Gupta, YOU are the most important part of the "treatment team."
I have never been impressed with the office staff. They aren’t necessarily rude, but definetly not friendly. I’ve not left a review over the last years because I really do love Dr. Gupta so much, but I just got off the phone with one of the office workers and have had it. They wanted to reschedule my appt for Friday & laughed when I mentioned I might need an emergency appt bc I normally see him monthly and it’s been 2. At the end of the call she said she would talk to Dr. Gupta and call me back. I said go ahead and put me on... read more
I went to him for over 6 years and he continued treatment for a diagnosis made by a previous doctor. He never witnessed any symptoms that would be anything to issue the actual diagnosis. He told me not to ever have children because of my condition, meanwhile, ignoring the lack of symptoms for his diagnosis and the actual symptoms that I was having indicating a different medical condition. I eventually received diagnosis and effective treatment from another doctor. Meanwhile, this faulty diagnosis impacted my TS/SCI security ... read more
Dr. Gupta is very knowledgeable, thorough and cares about his patients. He even gives out his cell phone. He knows more about medication than my own PCP. He always asks how I’m doing and takes interest. I highly recommend Dr. Gupta.
After searching for several months for someone to help with my son, we finally found to Dr. Gupta. I was reluctant to start my son on medication, but Dr. Gupta explained the treatment process so I understood it would be the best solution for my son at this time in his life. Dr. Gupta’s professionalism and compassionate approach eased my concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Gupta to anyone who is looking for a Psychiatrist who really cares about his patients and their families.
Dr. Gupta is amazing. I would give him more stars if possible. I know for a fact that he saved my son's life. He took the time to listen to him and work with him over a course of months to adjust and change his medication until it was "right" for him. Dr. Gupta actually cares about his patients and I have sent many many people over to him.
For many years I have had problems dealing with nightmares, compulsive behaviors and anger management. Conversations with Dr. Gupta revealed some of my triggers, we developed a strategy to address my compulsive behavior and treatment for nightmares and anger management. Since I’ve been with Dr. Gupta, my nightmares are less terrifying, my compulsions are controllable and I’m able to work through difficult situations without reacting inappropriately. Dr. Gupta has saved my life. Thank You!
I had been misdiagnosed for a number of years, which resulted in taking multiple medications, each with their own set of side effects. I had been hospitalized more than once, and had undergone ECT. Not to sound overly dramatic, but I believe Dr. Gupta saved my life. He listens and considers my opinions, and doesn't prescribe medications just for the sake of doing so. He orders lab tests according to my medication, and always allows time for questions. I hope I never need to change doctors.
