Shoulder pain
Very personable surgeon. Easy to talk to and explains options in straight forward, simple terms .
Dr. Flores listens well, provides options (including his thoughts about them), and supports the patient's decision. He's realistic and helpful.
Dr. Flores is honest and kind and gave me all the time I needed to explain pros and cons of upcoming elective surgery. He has performed surgery on me previously and I wouldn't think of using a different surgeon. He is perfection!

Follow up visit after my trigger finger release surgery. Dr Flores explained the healing process may take a little longer because my finger was bent for an extended time. He also showed me the good progress I’ve made and to keep working the exercises. I came in a bit disappointed and left with a positive outlook.
This is my third visit to Orthopedics of SWFL. I’m amazed at how well run this organization is. From check in to check out, each associate is ready and knowledgeable. Didn’t get the results today I was looking for, apparently my lack of understanding re: nerve issues made for a different road to travel. But I’ll follow the direction for Dr. Flores and get relief soon.
I have seen Dr. Flores many times for treatment of osteoarthritis in my right thumb. He has given me cortisone shots when appropriate and prescribed diclofenac gel. Both treatments have reduced the pain and inflammation. He is now treating my carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Every time I see him, he has explained clearly what he is doing and why. I have complete confidence in his medical competence and look forward to successful surgeries to treat the carpal tunnel pain.
