Dr. added 2 pain meds to a patient . PT started hallucinating, etc. I called office , explained - they told me to call back next morning. I did. They were closed all day. PT was called 3 days later. By then I'd advised against new meds. PT says office staff has high turnover .

Dr. Mazo is an excellent neurologist! He has been treating my seizures and neurological problems for 5 years. He is one of the best doctors I have come across in years. His office staff has always been good about getting back to me if I have a question for the doctor.

My husband has been seeing Dr.Mazo for about 7 years. Dr. Mazo is an excellent and caring doctor! Dr. Mazo has gone above and beyond to help my husband with his brain injury that he received serving our country. We have seen several doctors and none come close to the compassion and professionalism Dr. Mazo has shown my husband. Dr. Mazo actually listens to his patients. We highly recommend Dr.Mazo and that 1 review the guy was mad Bc Dr.Mazo was concerned about him mixing drugs that is concern!

This guy is totally condescending and has a severe god complex when it relates to pain control, assumes you are drug seeking no matter what you tell him, tells you that you will have a HEART ATTACK if you take a 10mg Percocet with a 1mg Xanax which is TOTAL BS.If anything if you OD on pain meds and benzo's you'll have respiratory depression or respiratory arrest,NOT an M.I.,he assumes you,as a patient, are totally stupid, and he,as a dr,is the genius, and he told me as much.I can't stand this guy.

Sadly, decent neurologist but worst business practices I have ever seen. Difficult to get appointments and resolve billing issues.

I would not recommend Dr. Mazo's services. When I mentioned another doctor whom I had visited prior to seeing Dr. Mazo he became threatened and defensive. He does not answer calls with questions in a timely fashion and it took almost 8 months to get them to correctly file insurance. While the office may look nice, his practice and professionalism need much improvement. I would not trust my health or well being in the hands of Dr. Mazo.

Dr Mazo is a highly skilled neurologist that cares about his patients. He has always listened to my inputs and never seems rushed. Most importantly, he has significantly helped me where others have failed.
