Dr. Iqbal talked over me and did not allow me to discuss my pain/symptoms because he must know exactly what I am feeling since he has the medical degree. Condescending, arrogant and outright rude.
Dr Iqbal and his team are wonderful! I have spinal stenosis and Dr. Iqbal knew exactly which injections would help me. Thank you a zillion times for making my pain go away. I’ve been his patient for several years and wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere. And…… I fly from Floria to see him!!!!
I've been Dr. Iqbal's patient for several years. Right from the start, he was knowledgeable and helpful. After trying everything for upper and lower back pain for over 20 years, one injection from Dr. I stopped the pain for over a year! It's important when reading and writing reviews to differentiate between the doctor and the practice itself. Staff uncooperative. Unsure whether I was actually given the appropriate amounts of pain relief in my procedures, since they wore off eventually. Staff uncooperative as far as resubmitting my insurance claims or explaining issues.
Go to Dr. syed Hasam. He is the best Dr. in the area for spinal injections and pain management. AAAA+ Never met a more pleasant man with bedside manors and explains everything in detail. With 3 herniated disks and I can walk again :) And the staff is so very friendly
I have had several injections both past in 2013 for my back and recently 2016/2017 in my neck with Dr. Iqbal. I agree with many of the other posters about dealing with the office staff. I have had some similar experiences with them, though they have gotten better. Anytime I have seen Dr. Iqbal for injections there have always been 2 other staff in the room with him. He explains the procedure before and while doing it. He always answers any question you have.
This guy did injections in my back in an unsupervised dimly lit exam room behind a curtain ! No medical equipment, no nurses present - Leaving me bruised for weeks and worse off than when I went in there. He shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine. Seems to have no compassion for his patients, spends little to no time. If you get this guy - RUN and request another Doctor

I was referred to Dr Iqbal by another Cap Reg doctor. After two consultations and an MRI, Dr Iqbal offered no definitive plan of action. He showed mw where my problem was but did not suggest any specific treatments that might work. When pressed for his specific recommendations, he kept telling me it was my decision. I went to him for hi sexpert advice and medical knowledge but did not get it .He went to Medical School not me. I then went to Ortho NY and they were great, and I am now pain-free
