Dr. Serbanescu is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. His bedside manners are great and he is very understanding and available. I have a fear of going to the doctors and he has made it very comfortable for me. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great dr. for headaches!
This physician is a arrogant condescending dismissive jerk. He was very unconcerned with my thoughts and feelings according to the plan of care. He treated me and pain as totally irrelevant. His office staff (Ann and Kim) are rude and treats you as an inconvenience. I tried to reach him for uncontrolled pain for over 72 hrs and when I finally was contacted he told to go to the ER and he would see me at my next appointment. I don't think so. I need a physician I can trust and can show compassion

Office staff, esp Ann Carter, are extremely rude! Dr. S, himself, is good. However, got so tired of dealing with his staff - decided to find another dr. Called office BEFORE NOON and was told by Ms Carter it would be 24 hrs before receiving call back. What??? Missed Dr. S call; however, he left a message that he would be in all day. Returned call within 30 min & Ms Carter says that was not true & it would be another 24 hrs before I would get another call. Took 4 days to actually speak with Dr S
My husband and I had our first visit with DR. Serbanescu today and could not have been more pleased with the care and attention we received. He is such a compassionate and informed Dr.I will definitely recommend him to everyone.
I have been seeing Dr. Serbanescu since I met him when he was on call and I came into the emergency room at Emory with a major episode. His bedside manner was extraordinary and under the circumstances he made me feel at ease. He has been my neurologist ever since and that was 10 years ago.
The first 15 mins were of him entering in the computer, everything we had written on the patient form; would not allow us to tell him about the episodes I had (the reason for my visit); just repeatedly said: Did you come here for my help or not? His staff never followed up with making the appointment to have an EEG; but sent his bill. I expected him to be the Specialist we paid to visit rather than behaving like I am not worth his time; this is my life we;re talking about.
