I never saw Dr. Serbanescu. His staff was so incompetent and rude that I canceled my appointment before ever seeing the doctor. Their behavior was uncalled for and dismissive. When first calling, I was told that there was no such doctor as Dr. Serbanescu. Apparently, I had mispronounced his name (it is not an easy one to pronounce). When I spelled it, she admitted that yes, there was a doctor by that name. I was then put on hold at least 5 times while trying to make my first appointment. Ultimately, I was put on hold, transf... read more
His way of keeping you on point and staying on point . Not letting you discuss anything but purpose of visit. Which is very good in my view.. The staff was good. Lisa was very helpful.
I have MS that was diagnosed over 30 years ago. I have been seeing Dr. Serbanescu for over 10 years and am very pleased with my care. I find him knowledgeable, kind, honest and caring. My husband and I drive 3 hours from our home to see him and it is worth the trip.
Very interested in your problems. Listened to patient.
No, I wouldn't recommend to Dr. Serbanescu to my family or friends. Office is dark and exam rooms are dirty (dirty carpet, and very low light. Dr. became argumentative when he wanted us to use a specific location for a test when we wanted another Piedmont location because of it being closer to our home and easier accessibility. Additionally, he lacks total lack of responsiveness even after he asks you to follow-up with him after a visit. This has happened twice now in the past 6 months. The first time this year it took him a... read more
He didn't take my concerns seriously, told me that my chronic pain and fatigue and weakness was just depression, despite my regular therapist saying otherwise. Didn't listen to any of my symptoms and already has his mind made up about my "diagnosis" before he spoke to me. worst bedside manor I've ever experienced and I especially wouldn't recommend him to women. He basically diagnosed me with hysteria.
Dr Serbanescu did not listen to my concerns when I told him I was experiencing serious side effects from a new drug he prescribed. He types on his computer the entire time and shows no empathy or concern. The office and waiting area are dark and dated. I do not recommend him and will be seeing a new neurologist who believes patients when they report side effects.
I have been seeing Dr. Serbanescu since 2012. He is very knowledgable about MS and new treatments, and has a great bedside manner. Ann, his assistant, has also been a huge help and always very friendly to me over the phone. The entire staff is very helpful and makes the not so fun experience of visiting the doctor not as bad. I would recommend Dr. S highly!
Find Dr. Serbanescu very attentive and pleasant
