We made an appointment weeks ago and sent in all the paperwork needed. We showed up for our appointment and Dr. Brooks was on the phone for several minutes knowing we were in the waiting area. I heard her be rude and condescending to the patient she was talking to with the door wide open, which made me a little nervous. Amber Brooks dresses like she has a photoshoot to go to. Every time you see her she will be decked out. She is probably one of the best dressed women I have ever seen. And there's nothing wrong with that! However her practice to help everyone is only true if you have all of the money up front. She told us that she wanted $8,000 up front in order to see my Autistic son, and that we had to comply with EVERYTHING she said, and if we didn't she would cancel our services and keep our money. Our beautiful daughter is 4 years old. I started asking our now former primary doctor about some concerns at her 2 year old checkup and they were not validated.
