The entire office is very friendly and professional. They handled my concern with sympathy and urgency and got me in the same day I called in.
Yes he helped when others did not, my pain was excruciating when I first met him after my treatment I have been stable for several months. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again. his assistant Bill Clapper was extremely helpful with follow up and overall concern for a positive outcome. Both the Doctor and Bill work at the NJ Spine and Wellness center in Matawan Nj a great place for pain management.
Dr. Sharan did his utmost best to make me feel comfortable and made sue that i understood the procedure and what i needed to do to help the recovery go along. I suffered from a herniated disk and found out due to passing out from pain. After the surgery i could immediately tell a huge (positive) difference. With Physical therapy i expect to make a full recovery.
I had awake spinal fusion surgery three weeks ago after suffering from nerve pain down my glutes and hamstrings for over a year. I searched for an Orthopedic and found Dr . Sharan . He read my MRI and explained to me why I was having all that pain and told me I needed surgery.I decided to get the surgery done, everyone in his office were extremely helpful and approachable, Billy helped me a lot , with questions I had before and after the procedure. The most treasured of the Doctors I have been privileged to meet Dr. Alok Sharan. Dr. Alok Sharan treated me as if I was a family member during all my meetings with him, before Surgery, and After.
