Dr. Alok Sharan truly gave me my life back. Before seeing him, I was suffering from severe lower back pain to the point where I could barely walk. Very pleased with my first visit with Dr Sharan. Discussed issue and treatment plan. We talked like old acquaintances. He right sized my projected worst case scenario. In addition, his office staff was fantastic! It’s now almost 1 yr post fusion. Am walking better than I have been in 5 yrs. Everything Dr. Sharan told me in advance was spot on. In retrospect, I now know I made the right decision, and chose the right surgeon.
From one day to the next, I went from perfectly fine to back pain to excruciating sciatic pain. My inability to walk and perform daily functions was devastating. I was very intrigued by Dr.Sharan approach to spine surgery. I'm very pleased with Dr.Sharan and his staff at spine and performance. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.
Dr. Sharan was excellent. He has amazing bedside manner, he’s thoughtful and thorough. He performed an examination and every step of the way explained what he was doing and why. He was informative and easy to understand. His office was equipped with an Xray machine which was a big plus because we were able to see the results within minutes. The office staff was just as pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend Dr Sharan.
