Choose another doctor. When he worked at Texas Mental Health Mental Retardation (yeah, back before that name changed), they only allowed 5 minutes lateness before they rescheduled you, even if you drove in from 2 hours away, planned ahead, and had no control over the traffic. No sympathy. Dr. Natividad also changed my medicine to one that messed with my hormones after I told him my husband and I wanted to conceive. Here is a quote from Harvard Health.Breastfeeding a baby regularly helps prevent ovulation, which is the release... read more

I asked if I were to lose weight, if we would have to lower medication dosage. According to him weight has nothing to do with dosage. I have had enough knowledge, not only taking classes for a medical field job, but as a mother to know that's not true. He prescribed a new medicine, and raised the dosage on my others instead of asking if I wanted to try a different one when I said I don't feel any different when taking my recent dosage. I feel like a zombie.

I have been going to Dr. Natividad for Several years. I was in a REALLY BAD PLACE, I was referred to Dr. Natividad. He took the time to listen to me. He has never once been rude, dismissive, or cut me short. We have not always agreed on everything. When I have a different opinion, we talk about it. I have never left their feeling like I was not being heard!! I didn’t even know he had a PA! Krystal can be a tough nut to crack. I think she is his nurse. She has left me in tears on occasion. She seems to always “lead” with apat... read more

I find Dr. Natividad to be short and direct. Many people would consider this rude or dismissive but it is exactly the opposite. He does listen, but keep in mind he must type out the things you say that are vital for your treatment into his computer as you speak. I find Dr. Natividad to be very efficient and being direct is very important so he is not one to coddle his patients nor tell you what you want to hear because you diagnosed yourself on the internet. He does care. I've been under his care for more than 3 years. That ... read more

A patient was directed by Dr. Natividad to stop taking a serious medication by "cold turkey". How could this happen with no precautions?

My daughter had picked Dr. Natividad based on reviews. I had major stressors close together that made my mental illness to continue far longer than they should have. Before I went to him, I had tried to commit suicide. The family stepped in, and my daughter got me in with him. I survived a divorce and then losing my father becase of him.

want to start off by saying that tonya (the receptionist) was great, HOWEVER dr natividad was absolutely awful! from my experience he is dismissive and shoddy, I spent a total of five minutes with him before he decided that nothing was going to help and sent me away. For reference I am in therapy and she had recommended I go to him. After speaking with her (my therapist) about my “appointment” she decided I was the last patient she will recommend to see him.

Office staff is rude and condescending to patients. If you press them to do their job, they retaliate by sitting on the paperwork and making you wait. They told me they submitted my paperwork to insurance, but insurance says it was never sent. The level of unprofessionalism is mind-blowing.
