I’ve lived in Berkley / Royal Oak for several years. I own 9 bikes I’m a bicycle work commuter, so I have strong opinions about bicycles, road diets, and bike shops. Of all the shops in this area, DFBS is by far the friendliest and service oriented. And they stand by their bikes with free tuneups and helpful advice. If you care about building a long term relationship with your bike shop, if want a bike shop where you feel at home, try these people.
Dropped my CX bike off yesterday for a tuneup. Doug and the rest of the crew did a great job and are super down to earth. Thanks for helping support The Morning Cranks and the local cycling community Jon. You have a great shop and the customer service is the best around.
I have been taking my bike here since I can remember. Every spring it gets a tune up and anytime anything seems off, I ride up and they check it out right away. Everyone at the shop has been friendly, super knowlegable and helpful and I trust them totally.
Good service great bikes. Many accessories to loose from. Hours are convenient as well.
Very helpful and friendly, we bought a helmet from them prior to our ride.
Just got my bike back after a tune up; what an improvement! It works better than I remember when it was new! Thank you very much!
Great shop that will have, or get you, exactly what you need to get riding. They helped us find the perfect bike for our 12 year old, and were even game to let us film the experience for The Real Community Show.
there great guys to work with,
They don’t care about the people or their bikes. They are only out for the money. Poor kid, 12 years old, just wanted air in his tire and they automatically, without even checking, tell him it’s $16 and he needs a tube. How would you know if you didn’t try filling it first.
