I went there last night for Thanksgiving. Only reason I am giving the casino 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was highly disappointed at the buffet. It was very disorganized. People were were pretty much cutting people off and everyone was toppled all over each other when it came down to waiting in line especially for the crab legs. I would think for the $28.00 price we have to pay that a buffet would be more organized and not have to wait so long in line. Overall my playing experience was fine. Everyone was friendly. Fun weekend with friends! It was our first time there! Our room was great with a view of the Dover NASCAR racetrack! We dined at the Oyster Bar for dinner first night. Nice restaurant, next morning had reservations at Michelle’s for Sunday brunch, then finished the weekend at Frankie’s! That by far was the best place to dine! The entire staff there was great! Thanks to Marissa who waited on us that night! Also, Nichole took great care of our room ! Fun weekend! Hope to return soon.

We went down for an overnight because of a comped room for Sunday to Monday and were happy playing slots in a smoke free environment. Was not so happy with the staff at check in. He did not make us feel welcome, and gave us NO information, such as check out time. No customer service, except by our waitress at the Buffet (dinner) and Garden Cafe (breakfast). Woman who checked us out was also friendly. Room was nice, but bed and pillows not very comfortable, and we left with some money because slots let us play without losing ... read more

Usually would give them a 5 stars, but this visit was very dissapointing in more than one way. 1st and worst for me was that both Sweet Perks (very odd) could not make lattes. These are part of my whole casino experience, I don't usually treat myself to lattes that often and I usually have 2 to 3 a day when I come. 2nd was when we went to the buffet on Friday night, every time I went for crab legs, there was a line waiting for more to be brought out. Casino was wonderful to myself and my husband! Security was wonderful as well.. I needed to locate my husband in the casino do to emergency call. They paged him and we had to cash out and leave.. will definitely return.. valet parking attend was wonderful a well.. very accommodating..

If you come to an event where you can't vallet do not expect to be able to leave in a reasonable amount of time. Attending a relatively small event in such a big venue you would expect to be able to pull out of the parking lot with ease. So far we have been sitting in the parking for an hour and have not budged. Seriously the event was under 1,000 people. The racetrack holds 95,500. Great planning Dover Downs!

I was on the 3rd floor they were doing renovations to the bedrooms causing constant noise and banging, wish I had known in.advance.
