I try to visit once a month and never disappointed....the staff is friendly...the hotel room is comfortable and clean....everything is good....the food is good.....would definitely recommend....happy staying!
I was very disappointed with the hotel service. Arrived just after midnight, the counter staff was subpar. I did not take gamble, can’t speak to that. Did go to the Garden Cafe, the staff there and food was good. The initial experience with the staff was so bad, it colored my experience with the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever! The conference at the hotel was wonderful. Thank goodness for outside organization hosting the event!
I was very impressed with Dover Downs casino and hotel. I loved the casino area and the hotel was absolutely amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my Visit and I plan on returning some day.
While I used to love Dover, while checking in on Thursday and clearing checking in before my husband last month while there and calling the day before to ensure no issues, a person from VIP services put a note on the reservation to 'NOT LET HIS WIFE CHECK-IN' that the front desk person could not bypass.While the front desk staff was fairly quick to get the situation rectified, by the time I could check in there were no king rooms available I booked the room in March and checked in at 4.
