Very HORRIBLE experience!! Doesn't even deserve one star! My apartment flooded with blackwater, its been a week since and they only say they're going to come and fix my floors and clean, but they haven't done anything! The manager won't even try to be nice about moving me to a different apartment at least while they fix it. The carpet was lifted up only so it could dry and put back on, but that carpet is so nasty that it can't be reused. They have me living under awful conditions! Wouldn't of gave this a star but had too. This place is disgusting and gross. The apartments are old and you can tell hasn't been remodeled in ages. This place has nothing but seems like illegals and some of them freak you out when they stare at you in strange ways. Its always a issue with the trash its just gross. If ever immigration wants to know where to possibly find illegals this might be the place. Most of the people living here don't seem to speak english. Glad I left this place. Never will recommend it.
Don't move here. Apartments are shady, the staff is unfriendly. The insulation is terrible. You have to set the thermostat to 75 in order to get the apartment up to 65. The neighborhood is loud. People love squealing their tires and laying on their horns on a daily basis. Cars get broken into. Things get destroyed. Trash cans overflow more often than not. Make sure you drive through and look at the entire complex and talk to some people before moving here. I would not suggest it. Keep looking.
Im new to this area, Im a single mother of 2 small children. I moved to Douglas because it seem to be quit and i had such a warm welcome. The manager was very sweet and the lady that moved me in was very energetic and on top of things. Im very happy with my new home, we have a renovated apartment with hard wood floors and the largest kitchen Ive ever had! I would recommend Douglas Place to anyone whos looking for a safe, quit neighborhood, great school district and friendly staff.
Do not rent from these people!!!! They pick with every little thing here. I was fine living here until they took over the lease, than they come an they send off they bluff. They pick with little things an the manager has a serious funky attitude. No one wants to rent from someone that has a serious attitude as well as rude. People that give hard earned money shouldn't resort to such rude people. So glad I moved never want to rent from Worcester properties again.
