I asked if I could buy my friends a round of drinks. The waiter replied “yes” after checking and charged me for 11 drinks. The drinks were never served and the explanation I got is it was against the law to treat your friends to drinks in OR state. However, that detail was omitted when the cost of 11 beers was added to my check earlier
