Drive thru is ridiculously slow! Every time it takes at least 15 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me. Been with Dort federal for almost 10years now and I'm considering switching. There is no branch even near me yet I still stayed. 2 main branches Pierson rd and Davison rd. There is no reason for this type of wait. There are plenty of unemployed ppl... Hire, train properly and take care of your customers!!!
The service has dropped off. 9 minute wait time to even get to a person on the phone. Dort federal used to be alot better with the members. I understand that they are understaffed. I hope the people in charge actually read these reviews. The employees that you deal with when visiting are always friendly and try to help you.

I came into the Davison Mi location beyond flustered that the charge of our wedding venue (that was due the same day) was not going through. Lee, their assistant manager went ABOVE AND BEYOND staying after hours to handle and resolve the issue. He was friendly and just fantastic through the whole process. The world of customer service could really learn something from him! #Leesavedthewedding
Ladies, those of you with joint accounts with your husbands now have to ask his permission to access statements and transactions for an account both of you own. There is no "Primary" is my household, but Dort thinks the men own the money anyway. It's sexism couched as "Convenience", but only for one person in the relationship. Get the facts from Dort about their online upgrade they did this summer, and how they fail to mention how your partner could be in a position to control everything even if you both put money in.
As a member for 37 years and a former employee, I have always loved this credit union. I still do, in spite of the glitches of the last week. It is with deep regret that I will be leaving it because of one little change in their transparency of accounts. If this is not an issue with you, then you can find no better place for your financial needs. You will make friends and be treated with respect, always. However, since there is no opt-out option on the transparency issue, I have no choice but to move on.
I have always loved being a member of Dort Federal. I have recommended it to many of my friends and families. However, this latest upgrade is NOT good. I can't access my account online and can't get ahold of anyone on the phone. Busy signal for two days.....someone please help!
