I came in this morning and threw a curve ball at the waitress. I told her to pick my meal 10am, lunch or breakfast. She chose apple oatmeal pancakes with eggs, sausage, and home fries. I am so pleased with her choice. The pancakes didnt need syrup, they were so good. Get here and try for yourself.
Love the pumpkin hot cakes, Guy's Jumbot, and raspberry French toast. So much better than the other diners in the area.
Usually a 5 star restaurant for us. Yesterday wasn't great. They forgot the chocolate chips in both of my kids pancakes, so they threw them on top and flipped them onto the grill. My jumbot barely had any potatoes or ham in it. First bad experience we've ever had, and we've been going since it was the tiny little dive across the street.
Meat loaf sandwich and lobster bisque soup were excellent. Glad we stopped here on our way to D.C.
Very undercooked pancakes. The coffee was good though. � We mentioned the pancake issue on the way out. I'll be back for an omelet next time.

I had the most amazing pumpkin pancakes - no syrup required, and incredible sausage patties.
