This place is about as Austin as it gets. Great music and good service.
You walk in and everybody instantly becomes your friend! Then you are treated to music by Austin's finest! Such a special place in Austin!
I first visited Donn's in the early 80s. Donn's is a wonderful place to listen to live music or just pop in for a quiet drink after work. Live entertainment nearly every night of the week. Varies from honky-tonk piano, soothing piano bar, small groups, roof raising rock and roll to big band dance music. Staff is friendly and drink prices are reasonable. Free popcorn and self serve cold water is always available to wash down the popcorn or to balance out the beer. Great place.
Best place for good music and dancing. Great place for date night. Drink prices are awesome too.
