Since 1961 Donn Adelman has been a fixture on the Austin music scene. Donn plays piano and sings, often accompanied by a bass player and a drummer. He has played in various clubs around Austin as well as playing in Las Vegas, until permanently establishing Donn's Depot in 1972. He has a very large repertoire so ask him to play your favorite song. Chances are...he'll know it.

I’ve lived in Austin for almost two decades, and when clients, friends or strangers ask where they should go - if I like them - Donns is where I send them. A place where everyone knows your name, the Christmas Decor is hands down my favorite, and the best and friendliest staff in town. This place is local as local gets - one of few venues that turns down silly sxsw money for buyouts to stay open for their year round regulars. And the popcorn is top notch.
The welcoming atmosphere and different bands every night. It feels safe.
Good old school honky-tonk style bar. Good music, drinks and friendly folks.
Wanted to surprise my sister with a trip down memory lane, celebrating our RR Daddy 😁
