Don Gallo has a terrific menu with great service. It always a fun place to hang out and enjoy some great music on the patio.
We decided to try dinner here after doing a Google search for good Mexican food in/around Knoxville. We had an early dinner, so the place was not busy at all when we arrived. We were seated immediately. The waitress took our drink orders, and promptly returned with our beer and margarita. I ordered the Carne Asada, which I enjoyed. I didn't eat the refried beans that came with it, but did taste the rice, and thought it typical of the rice served at most "Mexican" restaurants. The steak was thinly sliced and grilled.
