I went to get a pre-purchase inspection from Don Davis on N, Collins. They stated they check ed the vehicle out in full and it was in good shape and would be a good truck to purchase. The only thing they said was needed was to flush and replace the fluids in the truck. I agreed to have the fluids flushed. The original owner obtained the vehicle from Don Davis dealership after all fluids were changed. I and the owner made the vehicle transaction later that evening. I regret buying my car from Don *********************** I have only had my vehicle a month and it has been a headache for me. The sales manager is not up front about the service they provide or the time frame that the service takes for completion. They have no regard for your time which is very disrespectful. I waited 2 1/2 hrs for a service and still left without be serviced. No excuse for this at all. My complaint is on the call center that services 3 different locations phone number ***********I started calling the service center for a Arlington location at about 6:50 the department closes at 7:00 , I only had two quick questions mind you this is the earliest I could call due to my work hours, I needed to know the answers before I decided if I could drop my car off to get services. almost swindled me out of 6,000$. ive been a customer since 2007. recently car overheating after work had been done on my car. over a couple of months they said they couldnt get car to overheat. had it 5 days at my inconvenience. i had car towed to another repair shop when DON DAVIS said i needed new engine for 6,000$ or another car. The repair was a new thermostat and radiator cap less than $509. I do not recommend them and i have other investigating going forward.
I went to Don Davis Service Center for a repair on my A/C about 2wks ago. I came out of pocket for 1200.00. I questioned why my warranty wouldn't pick up the cost for the repair. They advised that it didn't meet the warranties guidelines. The next day the A/C was out again. I called back to Don Davis to report the issue yet again and came back in. We have been going to Don Davis Ford for over 25 yrs. Have purchased two new Ford Explorers & new Ford Ranger. Their Service Dept last two years has been so disappointing & such Poor Service. Year ago Steven was our Serv Rep & they had our Car for ten days & we only recd a phone from him on first day to upsell us with Brake, Transmission, Power Steering, Radiator flushes. My review involves Don Davis Nissan on I-20 in Arlington, TX that I visited on 16 Dec 2019. Since Oct 2019 they have been recommending that I replace the battery attesting that the battery voltage was low, even though I had no issues with the battery. So I scheduled to have my battery replaced. After the service I started keeping a log of services on my car (easy to keep an excel spreadsheet). I have diligently keep all service invoices. Regarding the battery recommendations, we use Nissan factory Midtronic's battery testers. We are required to keep records of those said "test results" (I have attached the two from September 2019 and December 2019).
