Customer service has declined, called about an issue then was told Dollar Bank now offers Auto & Homeowners insurance but they dropped the ball getting me to the department.. why offer a service when there is no direct line and/or prompts on the call to get there. This was very disappointing & I will not even go into the long wait times on hold & being hung up on... May possibly switch banks in future after more than 20 yrs with Dollar Bank.
Terrible bank. Stuck in the 1990s using fax for things and many errors and issues with international transactions and zelle transactions. Only use this bank if you are 70 years old
Here we go again 2/2/2026 - I have a job interview in 2 hours and my mother was kind enough to send me money. Please tell me why dollar took the money. why do they constantly do things. what did we do as customers. they keep hanging up on me, I see nothings changed in the last 3 years. Please, whatever you do, go ANYWHERE ELSE for a mortgage. It doesn't matter if they're offering the first time homebuyers grant, or the $500 off at closing, or even the lowest rates. I promise you it will be the most miserable experience of your life, ESPECIALLY if it's a foreclosed, as-is home. It took 5 and a half months to get from offer to closing, and the majority of that time was spent waiting for answers, responses, communication, etc. from people at Dollar Bank that seemed to constantly be on vacation or just simply ... read more
