Poor management, very unprofessional planning – I purchased a $400 gift certificate for my wife, so she could have an all day spa treatment for our one year anniversary. You know, you're supposed to give paper! Anyhow, she scheduled it 3 weeks prior, and knowing she had a massage on a certain day, she also schedule a trip around her spa day! Fool me twice, shame on me. – Watch the clock, I scheduled a 50 minute massage....however the nice lady said we were done after 30 minutes. I thought perhaps I was wrong about what I had scheduled but sure enough when I was charged for 50 minutes I was speechless and just took it as a battle scar. Something to "know before you go" 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill.
Great massage! – I received a gift certificate for a swedish massage. I arrived for my appt and immediately fell in love with the place. It is very quaint and intimate and has such a wonderful aroma. I was able to upgrade my massage to a deep tissue with no problem. The massage was so relaxing and left me feeling like I was on cloud nine. The therapist was fantastic and made me feel so comfortable. I am definitely going back!!
SIMPLY GREAT! – I was very impressed with the quality of service and the nice ambiance of this place! The staff was Very professional, great fragrances all over the place, and the treatments ... FABULOUSLY and RELAXING! Cozy Spa – My husband and I spent the better part of a day at this spa receiving several services and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The massage and facial were good but I would skip the wrap and bath next time. I did not like being served my lunch salad on my lap while I sat on a sofa in the reception area in my robe. Very awkward. There was some pressure to buy their products. I haven't had many day spa experiences, so I'll probably try them again.....but they are very pricey.
Very Comfortable – My friend had purchased me a 4 hour package fthat consisted of a massage, facial, hand and foot treatment and after facial make up application. I really like the coziness of this spa, I felt like I was at a friend's house. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Nancy gave me a lot of suggestions for my face and Kim did some great stretches during the massage, I'm looking forward to going back and I definitely recommend it.
Loved it!!! – This is my first time writing a review but for a different reason than most, I loved the service here. My best friend and I wanted to have massages and we tried for a Saturday at the last minute thinking it would probably never happen. I WANT MY MONEY BACK – This is my first time taking time out to write a review. So you know something's not right. My review is not on my experience. My experience was magnificent-Deborah was an angel to me. Out of all the cities I've been in I thought I had finally found "The One", but I was wrong. I had to cancel my appointment because of delayed flight arrangements. With my personal confusion, I even called and said that I was not sure if I would be able to make it. Nice Retreat in the city – I absolutely love this spa. The location is very accommodating, the staff is always so friendly, and every massage therapist I have used has been wonderful. If you like deep tissue as for Eugenia and if you are athletic and need a sports-targeted massage, Christi is great. She even gave me some helpful exercises to work out to prevent tightness and promote good posture. They use great products that are not greasy as well. Great retreat! :)
