A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! – I received a gift certificate to be used at Dolce Vita; my experience was great! From the moment I called to set up my appointment till the time I left the spa, I was made to feel special. TWO THUMBS UP!! – An intimate place with a European flavor and a serene atmosphere-great for getting off the road and getting a massage instead of sitting in traffic. Gift Certificates Beware!!! – I have to say I have always been a big fan of Dolce Vita, the therapists here are fantastic. I've been here quite a few times and my husband always gets me a gift certificate for Christmas and Mother's Day, that I use in addition to my own visits. I noticed that it always takes several days or weeks ahead for me to book an appointment when I have a gift certifcate even during the week which I assume would be slower than a weekend. Best Massage – "This was my first time here and it will, most certainly, not be my last. I am a frequent "spa-goer" and have visited many a spa during my travels, but to have such a beautiful place such as this so close to home is exciting. I had THE BEST massage experience in years. Serene and Revitalizing – I highly recommend this spa to those who are picky about cleanliness and class. I can only relax at a spa in which I feel comfortable, clean, and safe, and Dolce Vita has really raised the bar. This spa is very upscale in quality and cost, but can you really put a value on relaxation and peace of mind? One peace of advice: take a deep breath when you walk through the door; the smells of lavender and oils are amazing.
Recommended – I have been to Dolce Vita quite a few times. It is a great retreat in the city, so much that I go on a regular basis and make my next appointment before I leave. I've gone to several spas in the city looking for the right massage experience, and I finally found it here. I have my favorite masseuse, which I will keep to myself (sorry). I run a lot and the Deep Tissue massage and stretching really help. If you're looking for a good massage and overall relaxing experience, give Dolce Vita a try.
Why pick this place when there are other choices in town? – I give it a barely passing grade on the massage. My therapist also talked a lot and tried to sell their products. It was a very cramped and small space; it was not relaxing like other spas in the same price range (though reasonable, I admit). Clean Spa – The spa was very clean. Yes, it is small, but it's cozy. Everyone was friendly and professional. I did enjoy my massage, but the girl talked a lot - recommending different massages, telling me the perks of a longer massage - basically selling. Warm and Cozy – I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this spa. Many places have an overwhelmingly large lobby with a maze of rooms or a very medical feeling, but this spa gives you the feeling your the only person here. My massage was very relaxing, I would definitely recommend this spa for anyone who really wants to relax.
