Had the filet mignon and it was probably the most tender steak I've ever ordered. Cooked perfectly to order, but, the steak had almost no flavor. Maybe a fluke; hard to say. Tamale appetizer was about one notch below Hormel's tamales from a can. Also, I never saw any sign of bread though the menu implied it would come with the meal.
We ate at Doe's last night to celebrate our anniversary & the food was wonderful as always. The steaks were excellent. My filet was SO tender & juicy & my husband's ribeye was huge & delicious. The salads were fresh & cold, & I ordered mine with honey mustard dressing, as their house dressing is the only thing I've ever had there that I didn't think was very good. Went here for a Sunday lunch, service was poor. 3 people waiting tables, waited 56 min from the time we got our drinks to someone checking on us. Food was not what it said it would be. Asked to speak to a manager and the waitress got rude and hateful, there was not a manager there. They were all on maternity leave. Won't be going back!
