My husband and I went through Aspirus Stevens Point for our whole pregnancy then gave birth at Aspirus Riverview Hospital. I just have to say I was super impressed with Aspirus Heart & Vascular. We took a chance and made the switch from Marshfield Clinic and this appt was so much smoother from the moment I called to make the appointment. The ped cardiologist (Dr Lamers) came from the UW children's hospital in Madison and was top notch and awesome with our son (4). It was easy parking and checking in. I’d give a ZERO if it was possible. YOUR employee made me take my very expensive belly button ring out for an XRay while in the ER. I handed it to him. Never got it back and your patient relations employee, Heather, said since it’s not a medically necessary device, they are not responsible! So what happens when someone comes in to the ER via ambulance carrying a wallet with money in it!? Does that get “lost” too...and let me guess...it’s not medically necessary as well?! I went to walk in on Wednesday March 6th and then to ER . Which resulted in a emergency appendectomy! From start to finish the men and women that handled my care were fantastic! Even food service! The RNs and CNAs in my section were absolutely amazing and the best ! Thank you for the service and the way they treated me! Even when things get a little messy they were all like ya that’s cool! My experience was top notch at the Wausau facility! Couldn’t be happier!
I had a bunch of tests done and never heard a word about any of the results. Anytime I wanted answers I had to call them to get them. Very bad patient care.
I recently had my daughter in the new birthing center and just wanted to share my experience. Although we ended up with an unexpected c-section, everything was explained to us really well and we felt comfortable every step of the way. We received excellent care, and I can't thank the nurses and doctors enough for making our experience as first time parents so positive!
