I spent just short of 3 hours in the ER with my son. He had a major hand injury and they never even took the time to unwrapped the bandage to look at it, or even clean it out. I left and drove 45 minutes to my local ThedaCare ER. Walked in and taken right to a room where they cleaned his injury. He received 13 stitches. From the moment we walked in until we walked out 1 hour and 1 minutes. The best doctor and two nurses ever!!!

Brought my elderly mother to the walkin because of a serious but non-emergency. The "nurse-wannabee" screened me and told me I could go but needed to put on a mask. I told her I was exempt. Wanted to see a doctor's note, uh no! 1. Under ADA and HIPPA laws I do NOT have to disclose. 2. Gov. Evers EO clearly states a person is exempt if they have breathing issues and no where I. his order does it say a Doctor's note is needed. my wife required a routine operation, we made sure with both aspirus and our insurance provider that they would work with each other, and that the charge codes would be covered. was told yes on both counts. after the operation the insurance paid half the bill, aspirus decided that that wasn't enough and sent back the payment. then, demanded that we pay the now $26,000 bill at a tune of $2,200.00 a month or we would be sent to collections. so, a procedure that was due to cost us $3k out of pocket, is suddenly $26k even after ... read more

The ENT PA that I saw was rude, did not listen to my responses to her questions and was clearly incompetent! Told me the pain I was having (and I had no pain!) in my ears was from a headache or sore throat...and I did not have a sore throat or headache! She ignored the fact that I was not having pain, and once she made up her mind that I had ear pain from a headache or sore throat dismissed me like I was an idiot!!! NEVER going back!!!!! I will drive 100 miles to be seen by anyone else before ever going back there.
Aspirus - putting the "ass" in health care. Got a significant procedure done in January, first billing statement was in April (mid-COVID shutdown). Spoke with someone from their billing department in late May, explained that we were down 2/3 of our income (family business is a tavern) with two children to support and was assured they would work with us. No i would not recommend this organization. I have been waiting months upon months for a call back about when i can reschedule an appointment. They dont know how to return phone calls, properly diagnose an individual with back pain, and refused to to any sort of scan or tests to see what the problem is. WORST EXPERIANCE EVER AND NEVER GOING BACK.
I had surgery onJune 24th and the nursing staff were spectacular. Always making sure I had what I needed and checking on my pain level. thank you so much for care and professionalism.

Behavioral health staff is not interested in helping you at all. Dr. Fabio Katao was my psychiatrist for a year and prescribed a series of ineffectual meds culminating in a medication that caused me to become suicidal. When I called to report these symptoms they offered no advice and called the police on me. Aspirus and Dr. Fabio never took responsibility for his blunder and has refused all contact and appointments for me. It is a low and cowardly move and I cannot recommend a place that does such things to its patients.
