I love the ambiance at the Dobbin House, especially the Tavern. Have always loved the time period clothing. The vs of the Underground Railroad has always facinated me. Bartender was kinda grumpy.. LTOWN resident.
We ate lunch there and visited the gift shop. We ALSO somehow left our debit/credit card in the store after paying. The card was mailed to us promptly without any issues so it was obvious that they were trustworthy. The store had a lot of beautiful and unique things!

A meal in the downstairs tavern portion of the restaurant was a highlight of my trip to Gettysburg. Everything about it was perfect; the atmosphere is wonderfully period without being kitschy. The food was delicious and the service was friendly.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary in Gettysburg, with such a wonderful dining experience. I asked for a romantic setting, and it was exactly what they gave us. A chilled bottle of champagne, a cozy table for two in wing back fabric seats by a fireplace.. Our server, Lauren was awesome, always checking to make sure we had all that was needed.
