This nonprofit hospital cares about one thing--making a huge profit. If there were another hospital in this community I would certainly NOT go to Dixie Medical Center. Unfortunately, there is no choice. Therefore, Dixie Medical Center is a monopoly. Shouldn't it be regulated? Medicare and Medicaid offer some regulation. My stepson is a patient. The staff has saved his life as he is stable as of today. On a scale of 1-10 and 10being high. Here is my rating: ER 10 ICU-10. Social Services 10 Communication from All Doctors and Nurses outstanding 10+++ Professionalism Top to bottom Doctors,Nurses 10+++ This is an outstanding hospital/ trauma center The community should be proud. Came to the lab for some blood work. Checked in on the kiosk like I was told and screen said I was checked in. I checked in before 11:30am. 2 people came in after me and were called back before me. One of the other people said I was here before them. The technician said they don't have me checked in and took the other people. Checked in again and was confirmed on the screen. Let's see if the person that checked in after me again gets called before me. Worst service ever here.
I don't know where to begin. I went to the hospital for a car accident, and they did a CT scan on me. A CT scan... They don't even have MRI. Neither does their instacare. While there, I didn't see one doctor at all. Just an MRI technician, and a few nurses. My wife who is studying to be a nurse says that this is illegal.
