Intermountain - worse Medical center this side of the Mississippi River. Days to get referral entered in their system. First appt 4 months out. Office is total chaos.
Really disappointed, I have suffered from Adrenal Insufficiency and Addisons disease for over 20 years... this office now refuses to see me or manage my care because of 1 good ACTH test?? Considering I have multiple failed tests, wouldnt be best to at least manage my care and monitor adrenal function to stay on top of an issue? They claim that adrenal issues dont cause fatigue?? Ahem... what?
First time received great info from Erin Warren. My next appt was with the dietician, but jad to reschedule. Due to this i saw Erin again( didnt know this would happen). I was on time for my appointment and she rushed through, wouldnt let me speak , and told me my reaction to a medication was psychological. That it was in my head. When she saw the ER Dr said it was likely a stomach virus and i disagreed she said she doubted i knew more than a Dr. The ER dr didnt even look into it being a possible medication reaction. Not had a lot of good experiences with IHC, but a couple of months ago our 7 year old daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This department and staff have it down. The staff were amazing, the training and help for my wife and I was super helpful, the continued support and follow up is great, and how they did everything to make my daughter comfortable was amazing.
Very disappointing. When I went in for my first appointment, the doc didn't even know how to use a computer and had to have his nurse do it for him. He didn't follow up on my concerns. Just ran the typical tests and then left me to deal it myself. Wouldn't see me again for a year to recheck thyroid levels, and this office has terrible customer service when you TRY to contact them. I emailed because I work and they are closed for lunch instead of alternating lunch hours so someone can answer a phone, so I couldn't call. Got t... read more
