Been going to DC for years. We love the food. Best porkchops in town, and the chicken fried steak is also great. The only problem is deciding what to order!

I went into the Dixie Cafe for the first time about a month and half ago. I've been back 3 additional times since then. The food's ALWAYS been terrific, and the staff is friendly and efficient. So the last time I was in there, I spoke to the manager about "Heather's" (see below) review talking about how nasty the kitchen is there. He said she was a disgruntled employee that didn't get along with management, and started working at Jet's pizza just a few door's down.
