Dr. Dan Teich and his entire team at District Veterinary Hospital are simply wonderful. Based on all of their positive reviews on yelp, I decided to come here to get a second opinion about my English Bulldog's condition and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Dan is the best. Good compassionate care with no unnecessary tests. My dog Rusty and I adore him. My cats Sascha and Princess tolerate him, and that is saying a lot for cats!

Thank you to Doctor Dan and his amazing team for taking such good care of my Dachshund Chloe. I brought Chloe in for a minor surgery and they took the time to explain the procedure to me thoroughly and were very patient with my many (MANY) questions. They called me when her surgery was over and gave me a full report. When I picked Chloe up, while I knew she was anxious to go know, DVH gave us detailed discharge instruction so that we would be comfortable taking her home and caring for her. Dan is brilliant. When we could not find answers to problems our pets were experiencing, Dan did. If you want a Vet who takes time with you to answer your questions, look no further. We have dogs and cats in our lives right now, who would no longer be with us if not for Dan.
I can't wait to see the new hospital! My animals and I have been waiting for this day to come. Dr. Dan won me over when he was willing to work with my newly adopted fearful dog. He was patient, sweet and let me do all the things I needed to do to make her less stressed. I recommend all of my dog walking clients to him as well. Dr. Dan has been seeing our two dogs for the past 5 years. I didn't even know that vets like him existed—he LIVES and breathes for his animals, and he treats our dogs like they are part of his family. He has helped us with every facet of our pet-owning life in DC, from hooking us up with great petsitters to helping us get a lost dog that we found home to its owners, from being gentle with our crotchety terrier's feet and treating our hound's skin infection on a weekend. He is the best. THE BEST.
Dr. Dan is a brilliant diagnostician and wonderful vet--warm, empathetic, and competent. His diagnoses and treatments are seasoned with common sense. He's the only vet in DC I truly trust.
