Hi Shelley, I'm sorry that you feel the way you do, but the description of events posted elsewhere online is both inaccurate and missing important details. The man in question has come into the restaurant several times in the last few weeks, intoxicated and behaving erratically, and been asked to leave. Excellent food, atmosphere and service!
Looking for a restaurant in historic Lenox, they were few and very overpriced and we are from Washington DC. Looked a bit closer to our hotel and found this gem. The food is fresh and delicious. Shared a salad of fresh greens and goat cheese then on to chicken tacos (the best) and a district burger. Lastly a chocolate Napoleon. The atmosphere is nice. Well worth it.
Always dine there. We are locals.
Ignorance is bliss should be the motto for this place, While we waited 15 minutes for 3 beers and watched the manager uncomfortably crush on his staff I was reminded that this may indeed the armpit of America. I don’t care who you are or where you come from; You treat ever patron equally and fairly and unfortunately this place should squarely be placed between America’s arm pit and it’s ass crack. I would rather shave my face with sandpaper than order a meal at this stink hole.
The most delicious food! I have had the salmon here many times and it's always cooked perfectly and so delicious. Their sister restaurant in North Adams Public makes a mouthwatering steak! And service is amazing at both places good job!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five star rating from me!
