complained about people smoking behind the fence in the back of the patio. nothing done. management said "duly noted" as quoted to us by our amazing waiter who had to tell the smokers to move away from the building when smoking. Guess what, when we left those ignorant patrons clapped. Thanks management of district kitchen for making our experience memorable.

I made a reservation over the phone on Monday for outside and then called back on Wednesday to change the reservation to inside due to the weather being cold and they said no problem. I showed up and they told me the reservation was canceled over the resy app. I do not have the resy app and did not cancel our reservation. I made the reservation over the phone and showed the manager my calls to the restaurant. Meals are always delicious. The portions are perfect. I always get the Public salad with my order.
I ordered dinner for my family yesterday (mother's day) through doordash. Everything came surprisingly fast except for the beer we ordered. I called to ask about it and rather than get a refund for the beer, the kind man who answered the phone offered to deliver it to me. He was so kind and everything was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for everything. We will be ordering as often as possible.
