Dirty Dog Bar is one of Hyde Park's favorite spots for live music in a fun and lively atmosphere. The full bar allows you to order any drink your heart desires while listening to some great live music. The bar is pretty big, making for some really awesome times with groups of friends just at the bar or near the stage. Dirty Dog also doubles as a sports bar, with TVs showing all the most important games. Billiards, shuffleboard and air hockey to add to the fun.

I usually love the Dog. There is this awesome bar tender who works the very back bar back by the stage. Great guy, great with the customers. However, I likely won't get to order drinks from him anymore as long as the dumb ass big bearded door guy is allowed to disrespect those trying to come and enjoy the place. There are just too many places competing for my dollar to put up with disrespect for no reason.
This place is alright. As far as drinks jackalope or valhalla are better. Valhalla is more metal. They have one big, fat, bearded mexican guy who works the door/bar there who sucks at his job and treats everyone like shit. Time before last I ordered a white tooth (whiskey with sprite) and he sighed, rolled his eyes like an irritated hipster and said "Hold on, lemme ask how to make it" as if I was inconveniencing him.
