This venue is amazing! Bar staff is awesome, PA and sound man are top-notch, and our band has had a lot of fun at Dirty Dog Bar! When used correctly, the stripper pole is also a plus!

Good Music, Good People, and Good Times
My husband and I took a vacation to see some family down in Dallas about two years ago, when we decided to spend a night in Austin to check out the music scene. We started walking down 6th, when we heard the music coming from your bar and pretty much decided that that's where we needed to be. So, we went in, watched a set, and then decided to check out the rest of the stip to see what else there was. On our way out the bouncer looked at my husband and simply said..."You'll be back." And he was very, very right!
The best shows I've ever been to in Austin have been here!
Bad ass venue! My favorite place to play in Austin at a great location on 6th street. Nice stage & sound, plus the staff is very capable & treats bands with respect. There was always a good crowd & we had some great shows there.
