Worked with ******* ***** Auctioneers for funding equipment and they had partnered with CIT group. When speaking with the representative, I inquired about early payoff, he stated that it would be no penalty, and early payoff would be on the remaining principal balance. However, about a year or so into the loan, I inquired about the early payoff and CIT stated it would be for the full term of principal and interest. This was not expected. They are literal scam artists. I financed a vending machine through them and then find out the contract clearly states it is a finance deal but they turn it it into a lease. I have a prepayment addendum that states that no prepayment penalties will be added as well as no finance charges on the remaining quantity will be added for early termination and they wanted to add the total cost of the loan, now converted to a lease, including finance charges with one year left on it as well as an early termination and they do not want... read more

Terrible Terrible Terrible company with terrible customer service. I purchased 2 vehicles from ****** in March. One of the vehicles was in such bad shape that I did not take possession and ****** did a buy-back on the truck. CIT has it that I still own both trucks and continued charging me, despite me calling several times to clear up the mistake. I have had several customer service reps say they will get it resolved and call me back and not one person has. They are also charging me for insurance on both vehicles, despite me... read more

I put a great amount of my savings into a savings account that was earning 2.45% interest. It seemed to be a bait and switch technique, as it is now down to 2.30%, and who knows what happens next month. I just feel it is a dishonest practice, and I wish I would have known that my account's interest rate would so quickly lower. I am writing this as I think any person thinking about switching over their savings, should be aware of the bait and switch tactic. Thank you.

Totally unorganized!!! We bought a truck from U-Haul and they did the deal they messed up the title do bad for the van we had to get a new one. They NEVER do what they tell you there going to do and your on your own to fix there problems! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK

Do Not work with this bank, Andrew W***** and Daniel K****** have very bad attitudes and im glad I didn't sign my contract with them for a business loan. I was buying 2 machines and financing through CIT BANK, I had the machinery companies forward me invoices to send to this bank. firstly Andrew does not have good customer service and was not trying to answer any of my questions, I had to repeatedly ask him until he answered, but I put my pride aside because this is business not personal! and I needed those machines! then wh... read more

I have never heard of this company and I just got a letter from them saying that my credit application was denied. That's good because it all sounds like a scam to me!! I haven't applied for credit anywhere for years!!
