The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Today, Tony's family continue to maintain the high standards he established over 50 years ago.

While the restaurant is very attractive we were kept waiting an hour, 35 minutes before we gave up. Although we didn't have a reservation, we'd been told by phone that coming in about 5pm we'd be seated right away. This lengthy wait was very disappointing.
Had lunch at dimillos yesterday with friends and our service was not great at all. We had to wait almost a hour for our drinks. We ask to move our seat because the sun was bothering my friend and our waitress did not like that she told us to wait so she could check,came back said we could. So we move to another table still no drinks she said we had to tell the new waiter for that table so we did he was not happy with us finally got our drinks. Luigi was awesome, heated patio well worth by passing 1 1/2 hrs wait, then the food was fantastic!
Great experience with good friends. Made a reservation was seated exactly at the time. Server was fabulous and guide friends with the menu navigating the lobsters. Beautiful day and beautiful view.
My husband and I have eaten at DiMillos for over ten years. We have always enjoyed every meal.......until the last few weeks. We had visitor from Florida that we took there for dinner. My dear friend order a steak Med. Rare. When it got to the table it was Med well and quite tough .The broccoli was cold also. My friend returned the steak and ordered scallops wrapped in bacon. Great all around experience. Everything great. A new Portland favorite.
We had our daughters' wedding reception at DiMillo's on the evening of 10/1/16. Everything from start to finish was above excellent. The Steve Jr and Sr and the staff were superb in the attentiveness, and thoughtfulness toward all of our guests. The appetizers and the food were delicious and with the view of the marina and Casco Bay there is not a bad seat in the house.
