The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Today, Tony's family continue to maintain the high standards he established over 50 years ago.

Try the scallop roll to die for. Great food and atmosphere!!!
This weekend I travelled to Maine from Albany NY and had my first experience at DiMillo's. After hearing my good friends rave about it I was very excited to try it and I was not disappointed!! The restaurant itself was such a joy, being on the boat and seeing the water. In addition was the fantastic waitress we had who made the experience exceptional. I had the lobster Mac&Cheese that was the best money I ever spent. I will be returning to DiMillo's and look forward to it!!
I have been coming here since 1981 ... by far my favorite restaurant in Southern Maine
Hubby took me here for my birthday! Was a lovely afternoon and our waitress Kat from Russia was so very nice and I loved her! Thank you for the Happy birthday song as well! Will always come back here for a special dinner!

I would have given 5 stars for the past 20+ years. But.... tonight, I was extremely disappointed. 3 of us ordered steamers and steamed lobsters and were served "clarified butter" with them. Oh No! This is NOT good! I thought possibly the server didn't stir the melted butter, and we just received the GREASE on the top... but she apologized and explained that they now serve clarified butter. Well.... this is a very bad thing. People that order steamers and/or steamed lobsters, want BUTTER. REAL BUTTER! This needs to go back to... read more
