I love DiMillos! I lived in Portland for a year, and of all the restaurants in the city, none are as good as DiMillos. I now travel from Salem MA just for the Crab Cakes. Yum. Highly recommended restaurant in Portland.
We love the atmosphere, but this year the food was not impressive. And really tiny tiny shrimp on the fisherman's platter and 3 scallops...wished I had known.
We just went for happy hour Bloody Mary's and apps. It's winter so it was very quiet just the way we like it!!!!
Good food, great views, excellent company. Our server was very attentive. Had my favorite haddock sandwich...yummy as always.
We went on new years day(observed) the atmospher was perfect, the service was perfect, and the food was tasty! I think all resturants have a tough time when they are at their busiest, we got lucky and got a quiet night! we will be going back!
They were busy as heck, but did all they could to accommodate our party. My filet was amazing and the bacon wrapped scallops the best. The server was attentive and funny. Johnny Dimillo knew some people in our party and comped some treats. Very good experience that made NYE a great time
First time there last night.. 30 min wait. Which was fine.. seated right by window. . Service was Great.. food was excellant... would definitely go again when in area . Parked in their lot and it was free..
The manager Johnny seemed like he could care less about our concerns about our experience since we walked into the restaurant. He approached the table and didn't even introduce himself. Was this his first day on duty or something? He was terrible. I had family visiting from the west coast and we all have extensive backgrounds within hospitality, half of my party were restaurant owners and I was completely embarrassed for my visitors. Shame on you Johnny! Shame on you!
I had the pleasure of meeting my son's heart recipient today for lunch at Dimillo's the staff was amazing and so understanding and the meal was awesome thank you.
