I had an emergency problem with my foot when I got up one morning and went to church and by the time church was over I couldn't walk so this was a Sunday and somebody said to go to Lassen medical by saint Elizabeth hospital and there's a medical drop in so thank gosh my son took me to the Lassen medical and he had to roll me in on a wheelchair and I didn't have to wait very long when she came out I don't know if she was a doctor who she was but she took one look at my foot and said it was gout so she prescribed me a medicati... read more
my doc.is abey sundara,I am having problems getting my prescriptions and she acts like she don't care,It feels like she is the Queen and if I am not happy that is just to bad,I called Thursday to get refills and I called the drug store today and they need to talktto the doctor and the person I talked to just told me they don't do refills on Fridays,So I am screwed and Will not have my meds to take

Walk in clinic is a joke. Wait time is horrible.
We just recently used the urgent care at Lassen and were less than impressed. Sat in there for 3 hours to get no help or direction. PA sent me for x-rays and told me to come back up afterwards to review. Did as I was instructed and she forgot about me so I sat for an hour before they realized I was still there. All the staff was less than helpful and seemed to be oblivious to good patient care. Would not recommend this urgent care if you want real answers or direction.
Lassen Medical gets a bad rap most of the time. I had to share that the doctor I seen in acute care is very thorough and cares for her patients. I've been home for an hour or so since I seen her and she's already called to check on me and make sure that I'm following through with taking it easy. I have seen her before in acute care and she has treated me the same every time, with kindness, patience and respect. She is a true blessing in that place!
