More Hype Than Quality – I have had many people recommend Dick's as 'the' place to get burgers. I was disappointed with the soggy, bland burger and fries. Perhaps it's a matter of personal preference, as the taste reminded me of eating at McDonald's. For me, a quality burger has toasted buns, and real meat flavor. However, they score high on the service meter. Despite a packed parking lot, I had a short wait and friendly servers.
I'd rather eat at McDonalds – I wouldn't bring my worst enemy to Dick's. The one and only time I had one of their burgers, which is waiting under a heat lamp like McD's, there was a large chunk (bite-size?) of meat missing from the patty. The fries were limp, greasy, and cold. The tartar sauce my friend got for dipping his fries in, had that nasty yellowish skin on top like it had been waiting for us for hours. If you're looking for a real burger go to Red Mill.
DICKS RULES THE BURGER WORLD!!!!! – Dick's is THE BEST burger joint (besides In-and-Out)! Their classic taste is yum yum yummy! Their fries are actually cut from potatoes at the site- not sent to them in a plastic bag labled *FRIEZ*, and their milk shakes are made when you order from REAL ice cream. Get your Dick's right here! – The best thing about Dick's is you order it and it's shot out of a freakin' rocket launcher at you, fresh, hot and tasty! Don't ask for any extras or for any of that "make it my way" crap...you get it how it's listed on the menu and it's always GREAT! Definately better than anything else in town and I think blows away even the infamous In and Out burger! Only one question? Why aren't there more of them around?!?!?!? (P.S. Big Smooth loves Dick's too!!)
Can you say cowchips??? – Once again it's one of those magical things that makes it larger than life. Dicks drive in is deffinitely a local Icon. About their burgers though... did you know they are pre-cooked and then place on a hotplate until you come along and order one??? Yes the deluxe is very good when you get it hot off the grill. Satisfying – This is a great place to hang out and eat great food. The shakes are real ice cream and they will try to make any flavor you ask for. The thing I find most incredible is when taking your order, they do all the adding in their heads. This is definately not a place for someone who is dieting, but it IS a place with great food and fun.
Over-rated – Just your typical, greasy diner burgers. It's the history and atmosphere that make this place memorable.
Dont Eat Dicks – Ooooooover rated floppy burger patty, soggy fries that only tast good because of the salt, milkshakes, well those are O.K. but then again they are O.K anywhere. Pass it up!!!!
