Not Worth the Wait – We waited 30 minutes to be seated and another 30 minutes to be greeted by staff. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our entrees to be served, and even then our entrees were cold. Never once did the staff offer an explanation or apology. As we sat and watched management gushing apologies to the larger tables, we wondered why no one still had not come to our table. brennans steakhouse is and overrated tourist trap with decent food, decent service and ambience but for the price nothing spectacular, if you want the best steak in new orleans go to the smith and wollenskys, a new york steakhouse, best filet mignon i have ever had and very large portions it was 16oz good service nice atmosphere, its on podyras street down the street from the superdome i think
A top choice – You'd never think it used to be a parking garage. It's tough to find a good steak in the South, but there are several fine restaurants in New Orleans. Dickie Brennan's Steak House is one of the best. Great food and exceptional service.
Dickie Brennan's – Good food. Not as good as Ruth's Chris. Fun during Christmas time. Also fun for large groups.
Classy, Tasty & Romantic – Excellent Food The Waiter reads your mind Very Cozy in the Banquettes
Feel like a high-roller! – This place makes you feel like a politician or a gangster back in the 20s and 30s. Very "clubby" atmosphere. Food is very good. All the steakhouse standards, plus some creative additions. The service is very good, but not great. It's a great place for a fun meal, not a quiet or romantic one.
Food and Service Impeccable – Dickie Brennans is the best steak house I have been to. Combining the Brennan's family service with the best steak in town. It is a very good place to bring that special client to close a deal.
Salty prime rib! – I was amazed to find that a restaurant of such reputation would serve a "super-salted" Prime Rib. I must confess that this happened on only one ocation but nevertheless, I was amazed!
Romantic Setting, Great Food – We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly, excellent service, quality of preparation and the wonderfully romantic atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
